One new Sage 386-4 Response, $275.00. This is a fast action eight foot six inch three weight. It's a four piece rod making it a good choice for a backpack rod or whenever portability is key. The fast action helps to turn over wind resistant hoppers and get some distance out of your casts. It almost feels like a four weight. Comes in original rod tube with full warranty.

One new Sage 586-4 Grace, $350.00. This is an eight foot six inch, four piece five weight rod. The iridescent pink Grace offers a fast action with a soft feel giving it a comfortable casting experience. Sage donated money from the sale of each Grace rod to Casting for Recovery; a non-profit dedicated to giving women vital tools to overcome the challenges of breast cancer. Sage still makes this rod although it is now only sold as part of a package that includes a matching pink reel. In original tube with full warranty.

One new Ross 890-4 Essence FC, $115.00. This is a nine foot, four piece eight weight rod. It has a fast action like you'd expect out of an eight weight. It's less stiff than most saltwater rods, but could be used in that application as well as pike and bass. This rod has been here a while so the price is negotiable. In original tube with full warranty.

One new Ross Fly Stik Heavy, $120.00. This is a seven foot eleven inch ten weight rod. It is a four piece model that comes in at under eight feet making it tournament legal for bass. This stout little rod is great for bass, pike, musky and even for saltwater. It's short length is great for fishing from a boat as you can bring your flies that much closer to the boat. This one is also negotiable. In original tube with full warranty.

One new Ross 476-4 Journey Outfit, $160.00. Original retail was $230.00. This outfit was designed for kids in mind especially for the boys as this one is blue. One used Thomas and Thomas DH 1409-5 Spey rod, $500.00. Original price was $900.00. It is a fourteen foot nine weight double handed rod designed to target anadromous fish like Atlantic Salmon and Steelhead on large rivers where covering ground and having a rod to turn those torpedoes. It is a smooth loading, deeper flexing light weight yet powerful rod. It does show some cosmetic wear on the grips, other than that, it is in very good condition with light use. In original tube and sock.

One used Cabelas 1005-4 CZN rod, $70.00. This is a ten foot four piece five weight rod designed for European nymphing techniques. This long, lightweight rod, and supple tip and stiff butt provides the line control and feel required for this method of nymphing. These rods also excel at standard indicator nymphing especially from a float tube or drift boat. Used only a few times and in near new condition. Cabelas return policy may apply, otherwise, no warranty.

One used TFO Left Kreh Professional Series 9 foot 9 weight rod, $100.00. This is a medium fast action rod that is smooth casting and powerful. Many of these rods are purchased as a backup but often get top billing. It has oversized stripping guides typical of rods designed for saltwater. In original sock. TFO makes you buy the tube separately and like a lot of TFO rods we get, this one only has the sock. No warranty.

One used Sage 890-3 RPLX, $185.00. This is a nine foot, three piece eight weight rod. This rod set the standard for saltwater rods when it was introduced in the early nineties. It's not as portable as most contemporary rods but the individual sections stayed together a lot better than the five piece model. This rod does show some wear mostly in the form of a soiled grip and minor scratches. In original sock and re-purposed Winston aluminum rod tube. No warranty.

One used Sage 696 RPL, $100.00. This rod has a following still today. This one is a nine foot six inch six weight rod. It's a two piece, which some old timers swear is much better than the four piece model. This rod shows quite a bit of wear. The grip is soiled as to be expected, and the guides have lost some of their plating. We did test the rod guides with some silk thread and they passed as snag free. I bet the price can be negotiated. In original sock and tube. Tube also shows heavy wear. No warranty.

One used Wright McGill WMSC964, $75.00. This rod is or appears to be brand new.  It's branded under Wright McGill who has a long history in fishing in the United States. Think Eagle Claw. This is a nine foot, four piece six weight. This rod seems to still be in the line up for Wright McGill although there are a few listed on sale online. In original sock and tube. The warranty probably went to the original purchaser, but again this rod appears to be brand new.

One used G Loomis Streamdance GLX, $400.00. This is a ten foot, four piece five weight rod. This is a fast action rod that excels at throwing streamers or nymph rigs on bigger rivers. The extra foot allows for mending and line control like high sticking over faster currents. This rod also appears to still be current in Loomis' line up. There is a very small chip in the cork otherwise this rod is in great condition. In original sock and tube. No warranty.

One used Sage 580 XP, $150.00. This is an eight foot, two piece five weight rod. It is a little bit odd at only eight foot for it being a five weight. The size is good for fishing out of a boat especially for throwing streamers. The rod is in great condition in original sock and tube. No warranty.

One used Sage 486-4 XP, $350.00. This is another rod that Sage made that attracted many followers. This particular length and line weight might have been the most popular for this model. It is an eight foot six inch, four piece four weight rod. It features a fast action that can handle split shot and weighted nymphs or can finesse a single dry to a spooky fish. The popularity of this rod accounts for the asking price. In good condition in it's original sock and tube. No warranty.

One used Echo 378FW-4X, $225.00. This is a seven foot eight inch, four piece fly rod. this rod was designed for small to medium rivers and small ponds. At 7’8” the rod is short enough to fish up close or under obstacles but has enough length for longer casts. To further allow you to fine tune the action of this rod, it features two tips: an "A" tip for accuracy and a "D" tip for distance. The owner has also included the line to be sold with the rod. The line is a DT3F Rio Selective Trout in a camo color. Rod is in near new condition in it's original tube. no warranty.

One used Hardy Zenith Sintrix with Hardy Ultralight 3000 DD reel and line, $500.00. The rod is an eight foot four weight, four piece  model. The rod has a nice medium action that strikes a balance between feel and strength.  It's very light in hand with a slender taper, but still has enough backbone to turn over basic dry/dropper rigs, The reel is a large arbor with a disc drag designed a developed by Hardy and is pre-spooled with a three weight weight forward line and backing. Both rod and reel are in excellent condition and look new.  In original tube and rod sock with separate case for the reel. No warranty.

One never used Orvis Trident TLS, $300.00. This one is a nine foot nine weight two piece rod. It's their tip flex model which is generally a bit harder for a beginning angler to cast, but can handle wind and distance in the hands of an accomplished caster. The rod is in new condition and still has the tag on it. The rod tube is original but a little scuffed up. No warranty.

One used Orvis Green Mountain rod, $100.00. This is an older four piece eight foot six inch six weight. It has a downlocking reel seat which was typical of a late eighties or early nineties produced rod. The rod is in good shape with the usual soiling on the cork. Rod tube is dent free but the finish is coming off. In it's original sock and aluminum rod tube. No warranty.

One used Orvis Rocky Mountain rod, $100.00. This is a nine foot four piece five weight rod. I'm not sure when it was made, but it comes in it's original Cordura covered tube and sock.
