Great Prices on Some Good Fly Fishing Gear
We've received some more gear as anglers are trading old gear for newer stuff. We've also reduced prices even further on remaining stock of Cloudveil waders. Check out the details below.
Rods:
All Sage Z-Axis fly rods and all Scott A3 fly rods have been discontinued and are priced to move. Please call the store at(888)988-7688 for a list of prices and inventory.
One used Orvis Trident TL tip-flex 9 foot 8 weight fly rod. $200.00. This is a lightly used four piece rod with original tube. Cork handle shows a little use and is slightly soiled, other than that the rod is in quite good condition. Being a tip-flex rod, this would be a great stick for saltwater or for single handed casting for salmon or Alaska rainbows.
One used Sage 489-5 SP, $400.00. This is an eight foot nine inch five piece fly rod with an extra tip section. Very packable and portable being a five piece rod and great for traveling because of the extra tip. Rod is in good condition. Cork is slighlty soiled. Sage didn't build many of these five piece rods with a spare tip, so they are a little hard to find.
One used Sage 590-5 SLT, $300.00. This is a five piece, nine foot five weight fly rod. Slight soiling on the cork handle, otherwise this rod is in good condition. It's been out of Sage's line up for a while, but was the sister premium rod to the XP. Very portable being a five piece rod. A good big water rod that you can nymph with or cast dries.
One used Sage 890-5 RPLXi, $350.00. Another five piece rod. This one is a nine foot eight weight saltwater fly rod. Features oversizes guides and two stripping guides. Very easy to travel with being a five piece rod. Makes a great bass and pike rod, and of course saltwater applications as well.
Reels:
One used older model Hardy Marquis Salmon #1 in original reel case, $150.00. This is the original click pawl design and is compatible with the newer editions of Hardy Marquis Salmon #1's. Fair to good condition with minor scratches on frame.
One used Ross Gunnison 1 reel with 2 extra spools and line, 200.00. This is a pre-1997 model, but newer spools will work on this frame. One spool is loaded with a three weight line, one has a two weight line and the other just has backing. Many people were disappointed when the Gunnison was discontinued. I don't expect these will be around for very long.
Wading Boots:
Prices have been slashed on our remaining stock of Korkers Torrent wading shoes, and Swift sandals are marked down 50 percent off! Korkers has revamped their whole line of wading boots and shoes featuring a new interchangeable sole system for 2011. We need to make room for the new stuff and this gives you a chance at getting a great shoe a a great price. Call for remaing sizes.

One used Trout Unlimited Gunnison model float tube, $175.00. This is one of the better u-boat designed float tubes we've seen. It's about 7 years old and still holds air. With stripping apron and double action pump. A great buy this year to fish the lakes when our streams could be suffering from lack water.
