Rods:
Three new Sage Circa fly rods, $425.00 each.  These are brand new rods that were discontinued in 2016. They are termed advanced slow action rods featuring a narrow taper and smooth casting stroke reminiscent of an earlier era. Despite it's slower action, accuracy does not suffer. It's a great dry fly rod or where fine tippet protection is a must. We have some 7'9" two weights, and one 8'9" three weight left, Original retail was $850.00 and all are now marked down 50%! In original rod sock and tube with full warranties.

One new Scott 885/4 M Series fly rod, $695.00. The M Series rods from Scott were created from their custom shop program and put into production. This one is a medium fast eight foot-eight inch four piece five weight. It features internal ferrules, blued nickel silver hardware, an agate stripping guide and a unique grip from Flor grade cork; components and craftsmanship usually seen in fine bamboo rods. Retail on this rod is $995.00. In original rod sock and tube with full warranty.

One new Scott 908/4 A4 and 1008/4 A4 fly rods, $275.00. The A4 line was discontinued by Scott late last year. The A4's were the lower end affordable rods and as such, either of these would make a great intro rod or as a backup. There is one nine foot eight weight and a ten foot eight weight. Both are four piece models in the original tubes with full warranties. Original retail was $395.00.

One used Sage 590 GFL, $50.00. This is an early nineties rod from Sage. It at the time was top of the line, but quickly was replaced by the RP and RPL line of rods.  It's a two piece five weight rod. Not the most portable rod, but it's at a decent price. In original tube and sock. No warranty.

One used Los Pinos Custom Rods Sage 480-3 SP, $300.00. This is a custom built rod by Los Pinos Custom Rods of Albuquerque for the High Desert Angler in the mid-nineties. The SP was the top of the line blank from Sage in the nineties and still has a following today. It is a fast action three piece eight foot four weight rod. This model is in excellent condition and looks like it has been fished only a handful of times if even that. In original rod tube and sock.

One used Thomas and Thomas DH 1409-5 Spey rod, $500.00. Original price was $900.00. It is a fourteen foot nine weight double handed rod designed to target anadromous fish like Atlantic Salmon and Steelhead on large rivers where covering ground and having a rod to turn those torpedoes. It is a smooth loading, deeper flexing light weight yet powerful rod. It does show some cosmetic wear on the grips, other than that, it is in very good condition with light use. In original tube and sock.

One used Cabelas 1005-4 CZN rod, $70.00. This is a ten foot four piece five weight rod designed for European nymphing techniques. This long, lightweight rod, and supple tip and stiff butt provides the line control and feel required for this method of nymphing. These rods also excel at standard indicator nymphing especially from a float tube or drift boat. Used only a few times and in near new condition. Cabelas return policy may apply, otherwise, no warranty.

One used Cabelas LSi 995-4 rod, $100.00. This is one of the latest in Cabelas Line Speed series of rod. It is a fast action rod built on a high modulus multi-directional lay up blank. This model is a nine foot nine inch four piece five weight rod. It has a fighting butt and feature alignment dots for easy assembly. It's lightly used and in very good condition. Original retail was $199.99. In it's original tube and sock,

One never used Orvis Trident TLS, $300.00. This one is a nine foot nine weight two piece rod. It's their tip flex model which is generally a bit harder for a beginning angler to cast, but can handle wind and distance in the hands of an accomplished caster. The rod is in new condition and still has the tag on it. The rod tube is original but a little scuffed up. No warranty.

One used Orvis Green Mountain rod, $100.00. This is an older four piece eight foot six inch six weight. It has a downlocking reel seat which was typical of a late eighties or early nineties produced rod. The rod is in good shape with the usual soiling on the cork. Rod tube is dent free but the finish is coming off. In it's original sock and aluminum rod tube. No warranty.

One never used St. Croix IFT8658 fly rod $90.00. This one is a brand new never fished rod. It is an eight foot six inch four piece five weight rod. It has a medium action and an easy casting stroke perfect for the beginning angler. Original retail was around $200.00. In mint condition with original rod tube. No warranty card.

Reels:
One new Ross Momentum LT #4's, $375.00. We have one black #4 in Ross's top of the line saltwater reel. They discontinued this reel for 2017 and the original retail was $470.00. It will fit lines sizes from 7-9, with ideally an eight weight with 200 yards of 20# backing. The drag system is designed for stiffness, strength, heat resistance, shock-dampening capabilities, and infinite fatigue resistance. Additional features include titanium drag components, a quick-release locking spool, and water shedding grooves on the palming rim. New in box with neoprene reel case, with full warranty.

One new Ross F1 #1 fly reel, $285.00. This is another reel that did not make the cut for 2017. This one is black in color and will fit two or three weight fly lines. The F1is state-of-the-art utilizing a carbon fiber infinitely-adjustable drag system, Much like the brakes of a Formula 1 race car, it utilizes eight independent points of contact for engagement, yielding a smooth, dependable drag. Ten separate O-rings completely seal the system, making it impervious to the elements. The use of carbon fiber is not limited to the drag surface itself, but is integral in the spindle, handle, and spool release. This creates both strength and a reduction in weight with a modern look. New in box and neoprene case with full warranty.

One used Abel Super 2 fly reel, $325.00. This is the classic Abel reel. This reel is already loaded with backing and a #4 weight forward floating line. It is set up for left hand retrieve but can be converted to right hand retrieve. It is black in color and has a ported frame and large arbor spool. It uses Abel's cork disc drag which is incredibly smooth. With original reel case. No warranty.

Wading Gear:

Remaining stock of Korkers Whitehorse wading boots are now 50% off!! The Whitehorse boot features a BOA lacing system and like all Korkers boots; interchangeable soles. You get a felt sole and Korkers Kling-on rubber sole so you can choose which sole works for a given situation. Once the soles wear out, you buy another pair of soles, not another pair of boots. While the boot is discontinued, the soles are still current and and new soles will work on this boot. Original retail was $179.99 now marked down to $90.00. We only have sizes 8,9, and 12 left.

It is also lightly used and in very good condition. Original retail was 109.99. In original tube and sock.

It had a huge following that had many Z-Axis fans disappointed when Sage discontinued it and brought out the ONE. One never used Orvis Trident TLS, $300.00. This one is a nine foot nine weight two piece rod. It's their tip flex model which is generally a bit harder for a beginning angler to cast, but can handle wind and distance in the hands of an accomplished caster. The rod is in new condition and still has the tag on it. The rod tube is original but a little scuffed up. No warranty.

One used Orvis Green Mountain rod, $100.00. This is an older four piece eight foot six inch six weight. It has a downlocking reel seat which was typical of a late eighties or early nineties produced rod. The rod is in good shape with the usual soiling on the cork. Rod tube is dent free but the finish is coming off. In it's original sock and aluminum rod tube. No warranty.

One never used St. Croix IFT8658 fly rod $90.00. This one is a brand new never fished rod. It is an eight foot six inch four piece five weight rod. Two new Ross Momentum LT #4's, $375.00 each. We have one gold #4 and one black #4 in Ross's top of the line saltwater reel. They discontinued this reel for 2017 and the original retail was $470.00. It will fit lines sizes from 7-9, with ideally an eight weight with 200 yards of 20# backing. The drag system is designed for stiffness, strength, heat resistance, shock-dampening capabilities, and infinite fatigue resistance. Additional features include titanium drag components, a quick-release locking spool, and water shedding grooves on the palming rim. New in box with neoprene reel case, with full warranties.

It is set up for left hand retrieve but can be converted to right hand retrieve. It is black in color and has a ported frame and large arbor spool. Six new Sage Circa fly rods, $425.00 each.  These are brand new rods that were discontinued in 2016. They are termed advanced slow action rods featuring a narrow taper and smooth casting stroke reminiscent of an earlier era. Despite it's slower action, accuracy does not suffer. It's a great dry fly rod or where fine tippet protection is a must. We have some 7'9" two and three weights, an some 8'9" three and four weights left, Original retail was $850.00 and all are now marked down 50%! In original rod sock and tube with full warranties.

One new Scott 885/4 M Series fly rod, $695.00. The M Series rods from Scott were created from their custom shop program and put into production. This one is a medium fast eight foot-eight inch four piece five weight. It features internal ferrules, blued nickel silver hardware, an agate stripping guide and a unique grip from Flor grade cork; components and craftsmanship usually seen in fine bamboo rods. Retail on this rod is $995.00. In original rod sock and tube with full warranty.

One new Scott S4s 907/4, $500.00. This is nine foot, four piece seven weight rod. The S4s is an ultra-fast rod designed for long casts, sinking lines, and big flies being delivered to bigger fish. The seven weight is ideal for casting streamers to trout or bass, or as a light bonefish or redfish rod. Comes in it's original sock and tube with full warranty.

One new Scott 908/4 A4 and 1008/4 A4 fly rods, $275.00. The A4 line was discontinued by Scott late last year. The A4's were the lower end affordable rods and as such, either of these would make a great intro rod or as a backup. There is one nine foot eight weight and a ten foot eight weight. Both are four piece models in the original tubes with full warranties. Original retail was $395.00.

One used Sage 496-4 Z-Axis, $400.00. This is a nine foot six inch four piece four weight rod. It had a huge following that had many Z-Axis fans disappointed when Sage discontinued it and brought out the ONE. It is a fast action rod with a sensitive tip section that garnered favor with many European nymphing anglers. The extra reach allows for better line control and  casts dries as well as weighted nymph rigs with ease. Rod is in good condition with minor soiling on the cork. In original sock and tube.

One used Sage 590 GFL, $50.00. This is an early nineties rod from Sage. It at the time was top of the line, but quickly was replaced by the RP and RPL line of rods.  It's a two piece five weight rod. Not the most portable rod, but it's at a decent price. In original tube and sock. No warranty.

One used Los Pinos Custom Rods Sage 480-3 SP, $300.00. This is a custom built rod by Los Pinos Custom Rods of Albuquerque for the High Desert Angler in the mid-nineties. The SP was the top of the line blank from Sage in the nineties and still has a following today. It is a fast action three piece eight foot four weight rod. This model is in excellent condition and looks like it has been fished only a handful of times if even that. In original rod tube and sock.

One used Thomas and Thomas DH 1409-5 Spey rod, $500.00. Original price was $900.00. It is a fourteen foot nine weight double handed rod designed to target anadromous fish like Atlantic Salmon and Steelhead on large rivers where covering ground and having a rod to turn those torpedoes. It is a smooth loading, deeper flexing light weight yet powerful rod. It does show some cosmetic wear on the grips, other than that, it is in very good condition with light use. In original tube and sock.

One used Cabelas 1005-4 CZN rod, $70.00. This is a ten foot four piece five weight rod designed for European nymphing techniques. This long, lightweight rod, and supple tip and stiff butt provides the line control and feel required for this method of nymphing. These rods also excel at standard indicator nymphing especially from a float tube or drift boat. Used only a few times and in near new condition. Cabelas return policy may apply, otherwise, no warranty.

One used Cabelas TQR 564-2 rod, $80.00. This is another current rod from Cabelas in their Tight Quarters series. It is a moderate action five foot two piece four weight rod. It's a great little rod for super brushy creeks and tight quarters as the name suggests. Being a four weight, it will turn over those air resistant hoppers and dry dropper rigs with ease. It is also lightly used and in very good condition. Original retail was 109.99. In original tube and sock.

One used Cabelas 1005-4 CZN rod, $70.00. This is a ten foot four piece five weight rod designed for European nymphing techniques. This long, lightweight rod, and supple tip and stiff butt provides the line control and feel required for this method of nymphing. These rods also excel at standard indicator nymphing especially from a float tube or drift boat. Used only a few times and in near new condition. One used Cabelas TQR 564-2 rod, $80.00. This is another current rod from Cabelas in their Tight Quarters series. It is a moderate action five foot two piece four weight rod. It's a great little rod for super brushy creeks and tight quarters as the name suggests. Being a four weight, it will turn over those air resistant hoppers and dry dropper rigs with ease. It is also lightly used and in very good condition. Original retail was 109.99. In original tube and sock.

One used Cabelas LSi 995-4 rod, $100.00. This is one of the latest in Cabelas Line Speed series of rod. It is a fast action rod built on a high modulus multi-directional lay up blank. This model is a nine foot nine inch four piece five weight rod. It has a fighting butt and feature alignment dots for easy assembly. It's lightly used and in very good condition. Original retail was $199.99. In it's original tube and sock,

One never used Orvis Trident TLS, $300.00. This one is a nine foot nine weight two piece rod. It's their tip flex model which is generally a bit harder for a beginning angler to cast, but can handle wind and distance in the hands of an accomplished caster. The rod is in new condition and still has the tag on it. The rod tube is original but a little scuffed up. No warranty.

One used Orvis Green Mountain rod, $100.00. This is an older four piece eight foot six inch six weight. It has a downlocking reel seat which was typical of a late eighties or early nineties produced rod. The rod is in good shape with the usual soiling on the cork. Rod tube is dent free but the finish is coming off. In it's original sock and aluminum rod tube. No warranty.

One used LL Bean rod, $100.00. This one is a  four piece eight foot six weight rod. The is no model designation on the rod or tube, but it could be an older Double L model. Both rod and tube are in good shape, except the usual soiling on the cork. In original aluminum tube and sock. No warranty.

One never used St. Croix IFT8658 fly rod $90.00. This one is a brand new never fished rod. It is an eight foot six inch four piece five weight rod. It has a medium action and an easy casting stroke perfect for the beginning angler. Original retail was around $200.00. In mint condition with original rod tube. No warranty card.

Reels:
Two new Ross Momentum LT #4's, $375.00. We have one gold #4 and one black #4 in Ross's top of the line saltwater reel. They discontinued this reel for 2017 and the original retail was $470.00. It will fit lines sizes from 7-9, with ideally an eight weight with 200 yards of 20# backing. The drag system is designed for stiffness, strength, heat resistance, shock-dampening capabilities, and infinite fatigue resistance. Additional features include titanium drag components, a quick-release locking spool, and water shedding grooves on the palming rim. New in box with neoprene reel case, with full warranties.

One new Ross F1 #1 fly reel, $285.00. This is another reel that did not make the cut for 2017. This one is black in color and will fit two or three weight fly lines. The F1is state-of-the-art utilizing a carbon fiber infinitely-adjustable drag system, Much like the brakes of a Formula 1 race car, it utilizes eight independent points of contact for engagement, yielding a smooth, dependable drag. Ten separate O-rings completely seal the system, making it impervious to the elements. The use of carbon fiber is not limited to the drag surface itself, but is integral in the spindle, handle, and spool release. This creates both strength and a reduction in weight with a modern look. New in box and neoprene case with full warranty.

One used Ross Vexxis #1 fly reel, $175.00. This reel is already loaded with backing and a #4 weight forward floating line. It is set up for left hand retrieve but can be easily converted to right hand retrieve. It is in a granite grey color. There are some very minor scratches on the frame and rim of the spool, otherwise it is in very good condition. With original neoprene reel case. No warranty.

One used Abel Creek 1 fly reel, $225.00. This reel is already loaded with backing and a #3 weight forward floating line. It is set up for left hand retrieve but can be converted to right hand retrieve. It is black in color. It has a light click pawl drag that is not adjustable, but enough drag for the application of a three weight. This one is a beauty and is in mint condition. It would look good hanging on any rod, but especially a bamboo rod with it's classic looks. With original reel case. No warranty.

One used Abel Super 2 fly reel, $325.00. This is the classic Abel reel. This reel is already loaded with backing and a #4 weight forward floating line. It is set up for left hand retrieve but can be converted to right hand retrieve. It is black in color and has a ported frame and large arbor spool. It uses Abel's cork disc drag which is incredibly smooth. With original reel case. No warranty.
