This is a dicontinued size for the Battenkill Disc series reels and is in good condition. This reel is on consignment and the owner is pretty firm with the price. Even though it is rated for a nine weight, the reel and more importantly the drag wouldn't stand up to saltwater use. It would however make a great reel for bass or pike at a fair price.
Four new pre-1997 Ross Cimarron #1 spools. We used to keep extra spools on hand and have had these in house for quite a while. One used Orvis Battenkil Disc 8/9 Fly Reel with extra spool $60.00. The reel new was $110.00 and the extra spool was $45.00. This is a dicontinued size for the Battenkill Disc series reels and is in good condition. This reel is on consignment and the owner is pretty firm with the price. Even though it is rated for a nine weight, the reel and more importantly the drag wouldn't stand up to saltwater use. It would however make a great reel for bass or pike at a fair price.
Four new pre-1997 Ross Cimarron #1 spools. We used to keep extra spools on hand and have had these in house for quite a while. They are FREE to a good home with the purchase of a regularly priced fly line. We'll even throw in the backing. All are in black. Again, they'll only fit a Cimarron #1 reel produced before 1997.
